September Chapter Meeting

This month’s meeting will explore call captioning as a communication access tool for people with hearing loss. Led by InnoCaption’s Matt Goncalves, Senior Marketing Director, the session will address how captioned telephone services can support everyday communication needs, such as contacting healthcare providers, employers, and family members. The presentation covers InnoCaption’s secure technology, including live human captioning and automated speech recognition, and shares research-backed results showing significant reductions in listening effort and fatigue, highlighting how accessible communication can restore independence and quality of life.
